Applications are open for the Laurel Girls State leadership action program course through the American Legion Auxiliary Post 127 in Orange.
Laurel Girls State is designed to develop a working knowledge of the structure of government to all girls interested in government. This is a one-week program from June 23 to June 28 devoted to citizen training. It is open first to all Orange high school senior girls, and secondly to any Woodbridge or Bethany senior girls. Applications are available at ALALGS.org.
Candidates should fill the applications out online, print them and get them to the Guidance Department at Amity High School by April 30.
