Milford & Bridgeport, CT – The Annual Holiday Toy Drive is taking place through Dec. 18, to benefit the at-risk children served by Boys & Girls Village (BGV). Donors can support these children and families with a gift of a new unwrapped toy, dropped off at any of the following five locations: Boys & Girls Village in Milford (528 Wheelers Farms Road); Boys & Girls Village in Bridgeport (170 Bennett Street); the Trumbull Marriott Merritt Parkway (180 Hawley Lane, Trumbull); Colonial Toyota (470 Boston Post Road, Milford); and Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Clearance Center (1799 Boston Post Road, Milford, also offering an extra 10% off purchase with any toy donation at this location).

In addition, BGV has been selected as a participant of WPLR’s Toy Drive at Webster Bank Arena on Friday, Dec. 11. Radio personalities Chaz, AJ, Pam and Phil will broadcast live 5:30 a.m. to -10:00 a.m. There will also be live performances from Gary Hoey and Whitford / St. Holmes, featuring Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford and Ted Nugent singer Derek St. Holmes! Other special guests will include politicians, newscasters and celebrities. Stop by to meet BGV staff members and enjoy a fun on-air event. Admission to the WPLR Toy Drive event is a new, unwrapped toy or a monetary donation of at least $20.
