HARTFORD, CONN. (Oct. 8, 2015) – Are you casting your vote this year? Don’t forget your Girl Scout Cookies! Girl Scouts in Connecticut will be hosting statewide cookie booths at a variety of locations starting on Saturday, October 31 until Sunday, November 8.

At the Election Day Booth Sales, cookies include favorites such as Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils, Rah Rah Raisins, and Savannah Smiles.
Again this year, many of the booths will offer customers the opportunity to support Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Cookies for Heroes Gift of Caring program. Cookies are a wonderful way to thank our service women and men who serve overseas and at home!
Besides the great taste, there’s something amazing inside every box of Girl Scout Cookies – whether it’s the confidence a girl gains from asking people to support her, or learning skills to last a lifetime. The Cookie Program is a hands-on leadership and financial literacy program that teaches girls five skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. This program is a part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, which helps girls discover new things about themselves and the world around them, connect with others and build relationships, and take action in their communities to make the world a better place.
Election Day Booth Sale locations will be added later this month on our website. For more information on the Girl Scout Cookie Program, visit gsofct.org.
