The Executive Board of Directors of the Orange Chamber of Commerce has offered the position of Interim Director of the Chamber to Anna Accetta of Milford effective Monday, Aug. 26.{{more}} Accetta is a Milford resident and has spent the past five years as the administrative assistant for the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce according to a press release from the Orange Chamber of Commerce.
Accetta is well versed in all chamber related activities, including, but not limited to, coordinating events, sales, website and membership databases, Eblast, QuickBooks, Constant Contact, dotPhoto and ChamberMaster software. Chamber president Rocco Salperto said “We look forward to working with Anna and are confident in her abilities as an interim director as we go through the seamless transition of hiring a permanent person to fill that position.”
The position of executive director was vacated upon the resignation of Carol Smullen, who has served in that position. “We thank Carol for her hard work, passion and dedication to the chamber and its membership. Among her many accomplishments as Executive Director, Carol was instrumental in establishing the first Orange Chamber of Commerce ‘Cinqo de Miles’ road race held last May. We wish her well in her future endeavor and much continued success” Salperto said in the press release.
The Orange Chamber is expected to begin taking applications for the permanent position of Executive Director within the next week.
