The Downtown Milford Business Association is hosting its 18th annual Lamplight Stroll on Friday, Dec. 6. Families, friends and children of all ages are invited to enjoy the holiday event. This year, the event has grown larger with live music, a gingerbread bounce house, carolers, carriage rides and pictures with Santa. All activities are free.
The Lamplight Stroll runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and takes place across the downtown Milford business district. It is designed to bring members of the community together for an evening of yuletide shopping and fun. Participants are encouraged to pick up a Lamplight Stroll Passport; those that have their passport stamped by all the member businesses will be entered to win a holiday gift basket worth $500.
“Downtown Milford is all lit up and is simply picture-perfect during the holidays,” said DMBA president Tracy Bonosconi. “We are so thrilled to have Ethan Allen of Milford help make the Lamplight Stroll even better – especially since they represent the quintessential style and taste of New England.”
Participants can pick up a Lamplight Passport at Scratch Baking, Frosty Twist, or the Milford Chamber of Commerce starting on Dec. 2, or on the Green the day of the event. For more information, visit downtownmilfordct.com/event-calendar/18th-annual-downtown-lamplight-stroll/.
