Orange, Conn. (February 21, 2018) – On Friday, February 23, 2018 at 4:00PM, Eli’s Restaurant Group will host a kick-off party for the “Eli’s Craft Beer Project” at its Orange location (285 Boston Post Road, Orange, Connecticut). The kick-off event will feature the brewers from several local Connecticut breweries, including Two Roads, Black Hog, and No Worries! There will also be a great selection of craft beer from all three breweries.
Kevin Fitzsimmons, General Manager of Eli’s Tavern in Milford and Eli’s Orange, stated that the reason for launching the “Eli’s Craft Beer Project” is to celebrate the great relationship between craft breweries and the restaurant group – giving customers an opportunity to have access to a vast array of great-tasting, job-creating, locally brewed craft beer – but also to highlight the economic impact and neighborhood revitalizing impact that craft breweries are making across the state.

“At Eli’s, we support local, and if you’re going to support local, who else would we want to highlight besides the amazing craft breweries across Connecticut,” said Fitzsimmons. “That’s why we’re launching the ‘Eli’s Craft Beer Project,’ to showcase the importance of the growing craft beer industry across the state while providing our customers additional insight into the passion, care, expertise, and most importantly, the people that produce the local brews that they drink regularly at Eli’s restaurants.”
Fitzsimmons also noted that there’s a family-esque relationship between Eli’s Restaurant Group and the craft beer industry, resulting in a great customer experience for folks who imbibe at any of the five locations Eli’s locations (Eli’s Tavern (Milford), Eli’s Orange, Eli’s on Whitney (Hamden), Eli’s on the Hill (Branford), and Eli’s Brick Oven Pizza (Hamden)).
“At Eli’s, we’re a family, and we consider the craft beer industry as part of our family, too,” said Fitzsimmons. “It’s important to celebrate family and that’s why we’re excited to launch the ‘Eli’s Craft Beer Project.’”
