It has always been a dream of Cathy and Nick Jhilal to be able to make exceptional pasta and be able to share that fine macaroni product with others.

Jhilal also owns the Bear & Grill and Cinzanos restaurants in Fairfield.
A separate pasta making room can be found in the back of the restaurant. Complete with specialized Italian pasta making equipment, numerous attachments and a series of tray carts Jhilal spends many hours creating a mouth-watering array of ravioli, spaghetti and cavatelli.
Jhilal makes 29 varieties of ravioli such as lobster, lobster-squid ink, wild mushroom and goat cheese, roasted tomato and herb ravioli to name just a few of the ravioli that Jhilal creates.
His product line, Chris & Zack – named after their two children – also offers a tomato and basil marinara and vodka sauce plus canned tomatoes from Italy, extra virgin olive oil and an assortment of desserts including an assortment of decadent cheesecakes.
Jhilal said he is in the planning stages to open an Italian Import store in a 1,000 square foot portion of the Bear & Grill building.
