Firefighters from the Naugatuck Valley area and surrounding communities, including Orange, will gather Oct. 10 to discuss the future Regional Fire School to be built in Beacon Falls and discuss the status of the project.
Ken Mitchell, Jr., president of the Valley Fire Chiefs Regional Training School will be joined by the chiefs of fire departments from each of the nine valley towns who will utilize the school. They will advocate for support of constructing the and discuss the remaining regional fire school projects waiting to be bonded.
In addition to Orange, the other towns to be served by the school are Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Bethany, Derby, Oxford, Seymour, Woodbridge and Wolcott.
