
Fortis Fitness held a ribbon-cutting organized by the Amity Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 23 to celebrate its grand opening at 200 Boston Post Rd. Ste. 2 in Orange. Fortis Fitness co-owners Dylan Turner and Mark Shields, center with scissors, hosted the event, which had a turnout of over 100 people. Also joining were Barry Lee Cohen, CEO of the Amity Chamber of Commerce, and state Rep. Bill Heffernan (D-115). Fortis offers private one-on-one training, as well as small group training classes, designed for working professionals. Other training options include StrongHer, a women’s small group physical therapy that focuses on fitness, nutrition, mindset and recovery. Team training sessions are also available.
