Good Morning Amity,
“This morning, there is a strong odor of fuel on the campus at Amity Regional High School. Our best guess is that there was a spill somewhere in the greater neighborhood. Cars and busses arriving at the high school tracked the substance into the parking lot. The Woodbridge Fire Department arrived promptly to assess the situation. After investigating the scene and metering the building, it has been determined that there is no danger to staff or students. Woodbridge Public Works has sanded the lot. The odor is beginning to dissipate.
Students are currently taking exams. The school day will continue as scheduled.
