Last week Gov. Dannel Malloy toured the manufacturing floor of Numet Machining Techniques on Edison Road. The business manufactures precision machined turbine engine components for General Electric Aviation,{{more}} Pratt & Whitney and the U.S. Department of Defense. In 2011 Numet moved from Stratford to a 40,000 square foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Employment has grown from 24 to 38 people today. Pictured are state Rep. Themis Klarides, Gov.
