The Downtown Milford Business Association will hold its annual Hall-O-Weekend from Friday, Oct. 27 through Sunday, Oct. 29 in downtown Milford.
Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. is the Outdoor Halloween Family Movie Night at the gazebo on the Milford Green. The DMBA will be featuring Hocus Pocus. Patrons can bring chairs, blankets and snacks. Scratch Baking has special Halloween snack boxes for presale.
Saturday is the Milford Trick or Trot 5K to support the Beth-El Center’s shelter and food programs. The run/walk begins at 9 a.m. at Lisman Landing, located at 37 Helwig St. Run or walk a 3.2-mile scenic route through Milford. Costumes are encouraged. Learn more at milfordtrickortrot.com.
Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will feature a day of Halloween fun on the Milford Green, including story time with the Milford Public Library, children’s yoga with Just Be Yoga and a costume parade at noon led by radio personality Brian Smith. There will be a hay bale maze, face painting, arts and crafts, vendors and more activities on the green. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. children can trick-or-treat through participating downtown businesses.
