Third and fourth graders from Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy in Orange recently visited the Orange Police Department to express their appreciation to the dedicated officers. Chief of Police Robert Gagne greeted the students, explained the services the department provides to the community and gave them a chance to ask some questions. Students then presented the officers with poems, letters and cards with a prayer for safe travels for each officer to carry with them on their duties. Officers gave the group a tour of the facility, including the 911 call center and police vehicles.
