The Orange Historical Society is seeking funds for its latest restoration project, the repair and replacement of exterior clapboards.

Built in 1740, the house has been restored to its original look and is a welcome place for visitors. At this time, $5,000 is needed to start the restoration on the east side with a total of $18,000 for all four sides.
The homestead is completely furnished with period pieces and visitors are encouraged to spend an evening at this wonderful old home. Folks wishing to dine at the house can bring their food of choice, beverages etc., and period dressed docents will give tours and provide fires in the three fireplaces.
