Holy Infant Church in Orange held a retreat on Sunday, Oct. 14, for 62 students preparing for their confirmation. In preparation for confirmation, students attended nine years of religious education classes at Holy Infant. The education classes are held weekly during the school year for first through ninth grade. In addition, each of the students completed a minimum of 20 hours of church and community service. Bryan Mercier, Catholic retreat leader in the Hartford Archdiocese, presided over the retreat.
Confirmation was held Oct. 24 at Holy Infant Church with Rev. Peter A. Rosazza presiding. Father Norman Brockett is the pastor of Holy Infant Church, which is located on Racebrook Road in Orange.
