Coinciding with this event, Board of Selectmen candidate Mike Richetelli will be announcing his five point platform, outlining issues and initiatives he will address if elected to the Board of Selectmen this November. “I am running for the Board of Selectmen, not First Selectman, however I believe it is still critical to convey to the voters what types of initiatives I’m going to advocate for. The Board of Selectmen is the governing body of the town of Orange and I believe part of the role of a Selectman is to think of ways to improve our town. If elected, I will bring new ideas to the table, rather than just vote on the items that come before the Board,”, said Richetelli.
