Orange Land Trust President Lawrence Messina will be present a photographic journey through the open spaces of Orange at the Sept. 10 meeting of the Garden Club of Orange. Messina has been an advocate of open space ever since he was a teenager growing up in Brooklyn, New York, and always felt that there should be a balance between nature and the needs of people.
The program begins at 1 p.m. at High Plains Community Center, located at 525 Orange Center Rd., in room 4-6. The event is free and open to the public.
