The Milford Arts Council will be displaying an exhibit of the paintings of former resident Riva Silverfarb from March 13-15 at the Firehouse Gallery at 81 Naugatuck Ave. in Milford.
Silverfarb expressed herself through both watercolor and oil, often focusing on landscapes – especially beaches, lighthouses and trees. She passed away in 2025.
The gallery will be open March 13 and 14 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on March 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will be an opening reception with light refreshments on March 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The show is free and open to the public.
