The Milford Arts Council will host a free “Pass the Guitar” event on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. at 40 Railroad Ave. in Milford to support the Beth-El Center homeless shelter.
Pass the Guitar, hosted by the MAC and Frank Critelli, member of The Bargain Band and host of WPLR’s The Local Band Show, will showcase 20 local performers on the MAC stage, sharing one guitar. As they “pass the guitar,” volunteers from Beth-El Center will be passing the basket for donations.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Entrance is free, but donations are encouraged during the fundraiser to support those in our community experiencing homelessness and hunger. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
There will be a preview party with hors d’oeuvres at Stonebridge Restaurant at 5 p.m. to meet the performers. The preview costs $50 per person. Stonebridge is located at 50 Daniel St. in Milford.
