Milford has created a “Reopen Milford Advisory Group,” tasked with developing recommendations and guidelines in anticipation of the reopening of certain businesses following two months of statewide closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The panel will be tasked with communicating and organizing with city industries to plan a strategy to safely reopen Milford in phases.
City Economic Development Director Julie Nash and Pam Staneski, executive director of the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce, will serve as liaisons and administrators.
The group will cover things like bringing employees back to work, potential new business models, work from home, the supply chain and tourism.
The other members of the advistory group are: John Schuld, Swistek Machinery America; Ken Sterba, CRRP, Centennial; Dr. Clifford Kramer, MD; Robert Creigh, VP, Patriot Bank; Elena Fusco, Owner and Founder of Bin 100 Restaurant; Al Franke, President, Advisra; Deepa Joseph, Director of Health; and Justin Rosen, Chief of Staff to Mayor Ben Blake.
