Four Milford eateries are featuring literary-themed menu items throughout October in recognition of Friends of the Library Month.

The community partners and their offerings include: Archie Moore’s, which has a Sleepy Hollow Sangria; Bobette’s Take-Out Bistro, featuring Chicken Soup for the Soul; Good Morning Cupcake, which has a Pinkalicious Cupcake; and Scratch Baking, which is making a Catcher in the “Rye” Reuben.

“The community has played a tremendous part in the success of our past fundraising events,” said Ashley Volkens, vice president of public relations for the Friends of the Milford Library. “This year, we want to take this opportunity to put the spotlight on them.”

Customers are reminded to call or visit each community partner’s website for their most up to date hours and availability.

All proceeds raised by the Friends are used to fund children and adult programs, museum passes and expenses not covered by the Milford city budget. For more information, email
