The Milford Garden Club will host a talk titled “Selection and Care of Houseplants and Clean Air” on Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Daughters of the American Republic building in Milford.
Dr. Yanghao Li, a plant pathologist, will present a program on the selection and care of houseplants and how important they are to clean air. Li works with the Department of Plant Pathology and Ecology at the Connecticut Agricultural Experimental Station in New Haven.
Potential members and guests are welcome. Anyone with any interest in gardening is encouraged to join the Milford Garden Club.
