Milford’s Kinship Glassworks held a ribbon-cutting Sept. 12 in a unique way, by burning the ribbon with a gather of melted glass. Owner Christopher DeMott opened Kinship during the COVID pandemic, and since then has hosted many artists as well as beginner glassmakers. Kinship, located at 23 Seemans Ln., is available for parties for groups that want to try working with glass.
