Milford’s Veterans Ceremony and Parade Commission will host a virtual Veterans Day ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 8 starting at 1 pm. The ceremony will begin with a patriotic performance by the Milford Concert Band with the formal programming beginning at 2 p.m.
Guest speakers include Brigadier General Ralph Hedenberg, director of the Joint Staff, CT Army National Guard and Robert Lougee, whose grandfather entered World War I from Milford. His grandfather’s name is engraved on the Milford World War I monument in front of City Hall.

Milford’s Veterans Day wreath laying ceremony will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. in front of Milford City Hall. Milford’s veteran service organizations along with other patriotic organizations will place a single wreath around the World War I monument.
