Carol Smullen, the executive director of the Orange Chamber of Commerce has resigned. Smullen said her last day with the organization will be Friday, Aug. 23.{{more}}
Smullen has been the chambers leader since 2007.
She took a 2-year hiatus while dealing with medical issue but returned once her health improved.
“I’ve enjoyed my time with the Chamber and wish everyone well,” she said.
Smullen saidi her greatest accomplishment was organizing the recent Cinco de Mayo road race.
“For a first time event we had 161 runners, great sponsors and $10,000 of in kind services,” Smullen said.
Smullen said she will be working for a “woman with a home-based business.”
