Orange, CT: The Town of Orange, in cooperation with the Orange Economic Development Corporation and the merchants along the Town’s Boston Post Road, would like to introduce you to the Deck the Windows Display Competition. The displays will create excitement, delight families and encourage resident support of your business.

First Selectman Zeoli said, “The concept for this activity was a recommendation of local business woman, Annamarie Mastrangelo. Annamarie, who owns AAI Flooring Specialists, is a very creative individual who wanted to create a festive holiday atmosphere along the Boston Post Road.
The idea is simple. Create an amazing window display for the holiday season that will inspire and motivate people to come out, visit and shop the local businesses.
Businesses will compete town-wide for the title of Best Storefront Holiday Display. All displays will be judged on creativity, originality, product representation and visual merchandising techniques. Each window will be photographed and the winner of the display competition will be featured through local news outlets, social media and the OrangeLife Magazine.
To participate business should:
Register with the Orange Economic Development Corporation by Thursday, November 12, 2015;
Decorate their business store fronts by Monday, November 30th and
Welcome visitors throughout the month of December.
Annamarie Mastrangelo of AAI Flooring Specialists said, “I am so happy to be tasked to spear head this program. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful window displays and creative events supported by our local merchants.”
As of Wednesday, October 7, 2015 eight businesses signed up to participate in the Deck the Window Display Competition. These businesses include; Bob’s Discount Furniture, Cellini Design Jewelers, Chef’s Equipment Emporium, Diamond Designs, Framer’s Edge, Kaoud Oriental Rugs, Material Girls, and Salon Aleez. All of whom eagerly committed their support.
