Orange will recognize Memorial Day with a ceremony and parade on Sunday, May 26 starting at 10:30 a.m. at High Plains Community Center.
Lewis Merritt will serve as the grand marshal. Merritt served in the US Navy Reserves from 1972-1976 as a strategic weapons officer. This year’s honored veteran will be Gregory Lebeau, a first sergeant in the US Army from 1990 to 2015. Lebeau served in both Iraq and Afghanistan and was the recipient of two bronze stars and the combat infantry badge.
