Sally Ann Endleman will be exhibiting her pottery for the entire month of August in Orange’s Case Memorial Library at 176 Tyler City Rd., with an opening reception Aug. 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Several of her one-of-a-kind pieces will be on display and for sale. She will also be holding a fundraiser for FRAXA Research Organization, a nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for fragile X syndrome. A selection of pottery will be gifted to individuals contributing to this cause.
Endleman was born in Montreal, Quebec and migrated to the U.S. after graduating from college with a degree in painting and literature. She began her career as a potter in New York City. During her time in New York she exhibited in several one-person and group shows. Her work is in collections throughout the United States.
Endleman now maintains a studio in Milford. Most of her work these days is experimental.
Her grandson, Adam, has fragile X syndrome.
