Orange resident Carl G. Russell of Pearce Real estate was instrumental on both sides of a recent sale of 13.26 acres of land at 185 Plains Rd. in Milford.
Russell represented both the buyer, WP Properties, LLC of Milford, and the seller, WDC Milford Associates Limited Partnership of Langhorne, Pennsylvania. The buyer is the owner of property contiguous to the parcel and will be able to use the newly acquired land for future expansion or development. The contiguous property includes a three-story multi-tenant office building currently populated by numerous companies. Among them are Total Mortgage, ADP, Banker’s Life, Karp and Langerman P.C., Byram Healthcare, and Jacobi, Case & Speranzini P.C.
I’ll never forget how our area could’ve had a Stu Leonard store in Orange at either of two locations but the people of Orange actively fought it so the store went to a other location, in New York. It seems the people in Orange don’t mind traveling to MILFORD for shops but they don’t want industrial or commercial enterprises in their town town
Pretty soon there will be no woods left in Milford. That’s very sad for the animals and will cause more deer to relocate to back yards and even the beach. Raccoons, skunks, opossums and ground hogs (along with other small critters) will also be losing their homes and ending up as backyard pests. Let’s try to preserve what ever woodland we have left.
