The Orange scholarship Fund Association held its presentation ceremony for seven Amity Regional High School students on May 20, 2023 at the gazebo at High Plains Community Center in Orange. Each student was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the association. The scholarship winners and their schools were: Adam Martire, Coastal Carolina; Izabela Kurpios, UMASS Amherst; Sophia Liu, Smith College; Fabian Cuprys, Bryant University; and Marissa Scotti, East Carolina State University. Emilia Dottori, who will attend Quinnipiac University, and Alana Abrams, who will attend Sacred Heart University, each received $2,000 scholarships through the Ashlie Krakowski Memorial Fund. The Ashlie Krakowski scholarships are presented from her family to students entering a health-related field. The recipients for the Ashlie Krakowski scholarship are chosen by Krakowski’s grandmother.
