Orange Youth Services has purchased a drug education board for the Orange Police Department as part of its ongoing commitment to addressing substance abuse and promoting community well-being, the organization said in a release. The board was purchased through prevention funding through the state’s opioid response grant.
The drug board, a visual and interactive educational tool, will serve as a key resource in Orange Youth Services’ outreach programs. The board illustrates the dangers of substance misuse and the impact on individuals and communities.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Orange Police Department to bring this valuable tool to our programs,” said Chantelle Bunnell, youth services and local prevention coordinator. “This initiative is a testament to our shared commitment to safeguarding the future of our youth and fostering a healthier community.”
The drug board will be incorporated into upcoming workshops, school presentations and community events.
