Francis Zeoli, 89, father of Orange First Selectman Jim Zeoli, passed away peacefully at St. Rapheal’s Hospital, Saturday, Feb. 21.
Francis was born to Angelo and Theresa Marino Zeoli and grew up in Woodbridge.
After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1947, Francis worked as the Chief Medical Technologist at Griffin Hospital in Derby until opening his own Clinical Laboratory in Derby. He was highly regarded in his profession for more than 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Tracy Zeoli, and his children, Michael Tracy Zeoli (Ewa), James McEnerney Zeoli and Melissa Louise Zeoli.
Calling hours will be held at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford on Tuesday evening, Feb. 24 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Services will take place at the Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange on Wednesday, Feb.25 at 10 a.m.
