The Moonrise Cartel To Play At Milford Porchfest

Rising indie folk rock band The Moonrise Cartel will perform a free set during Milford’s Porchfest on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 74 Melba St. from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Known for their heartfelt original songs and soaring harmonies, The Moonrise Cartel has quickly grown from playing local porches to filling big stages across the region. They are fresh off high-profile slots opening for nationally touring acts and with headline shows selling out across Connecticut.

“This is the kind of show that means the most to us,” says Al Pascarelli, singer and songwriter of The Moonrise Cartel. “We love the big stages, but nothing beats sharing our music at an event like Porchfest. We can’t wait to bring our energy to Milford.”

The band’s next show nearby will be opening for The Alternate Routes at The Warehouse in Fairfield on Dec. 6.
Porchfest events invite musicians of all types to play on their porches and in local communities. Towns around the country hold Porchfests, and Milford has done so for the last few years. This year’s event runs from noon to 6 p.m.
