Based on the true story of one of the most famous con artists in history, Catch Me If You Can is a musical set in the 1960s that tells the tale of an ingenious, yet lonely, boy looking for his place in the world.
The story begins as Agent Carl Hanratty captures Frank Abagnale, Jr. after years of pursuit. Frank narrates his version of the truth, describing his life as a hip, dance-heavy variety TV show. A teenage Frank runs away from his unhappy home to live a life of adventure, conning people by assuming a multitude of identities, including an airline pilot, doctor and lawyer.
Tickets are $18 and can be purchased online at amitytheaterdepartment.com, or by contacting the box office at 203-392-2019 or at amityboxoffice@gmail.com.
