The Case Memorial Library will host a program titled “Tyler City: A Town Created by a Railroad” in the Meeting Room on Monday, Jan. 27 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A whole city planned within Orange in the 1870s, based on the trains that passed through Orange on their way to and from New Haven. Come hear about the history of Tyler City – the town that is only a memory – in this presentation by Ginny Reinhard, president of the Orange Historical Society.
