Job Network In Orange To Discuss Interviewing

The Housatonic River Job Network will be hosting career consultant Natalia Xiomara as its guest speaker on Thursday, Feb. 6 at the Case Memorial Library in Orange.

As a member of Employment Team Resource LLC, Xiomara collaborates with companies, human resources departments and hiring managers to find and retain talent. She also consults with and for individual clients during career transitions and job searches, guiding them in how to best market their skills and talents through their resumes, cover letters and interview preparation.

Operating from both sides of the interview table, she also has global experience consulting with companies. She additionally creates leadership and professional development training for major corporations.

Xiomara’s talk, which begins at 6 p.m. and is titled “Top 10 Interview Tips and How to Create Your Personal Brand,” will be a short but jam-packed presentation. She will present in detail how to impress in an interview and land that next job. She will also be discussing how to talk about yourself. If you’ve had a career in many fields, what is your specific “brand”? Attendees by the end of the session will be able to present themselves confidently in an interview or networking situation.

The Housatonic River Job Network is an open group dedicated to those underemployed or in transition to meet, share leads, hear guest speakers and obtain information for their job search. Case Memorial Library is located at 176 Tyler City Rd. in Orange. For more information, contact Alex Yaworowski at
