The garden clubs in Milford and Orange will hold two separate market events during the month of May.
The Milford Garden Club market will take place on a new date: Saturday, May 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Fowler Pavilion directly behind the Milford Public Library.
The club will have a large variety of perennials dug from members’ gardens, along with annuals, houseplants and “garden treasures” for sale. Master gardeners will be available to answer gardening-related questions. Proceeds from the sale will support the club’s programs and activities.
The Milford Garden Club has been active for 94 years.
Meanwhile, the Garden Club of Orange will host its annual market on Saturday, May 8 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the High Plains Community Center Pavilion at 525 Orange Center Rd. The Orange club will be offering perennials grown by its members, popular annuals and a new “garden treasures” table.
This year marks the 90th anniversary for the Orange club.
