Students and staff at St. Mary School in Milford wore pink and teal on Oct. 22 to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In exchange for a small donation, everyone wore the colors for metastatic breast cancer and raised $468. The money will be donated to the nonprofit Barbells for Boobs, which provides mental and physical support after diagnosis. Presenting the check is St. Mary School principal Deacon Dominic Corraro to the Yeater family, who brought the idea to the school community.
