Corn and Clam Fritters

2 14 oz cans of cream corn{{more}}

2 6 oz cans of chopped clams

All purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 cup of sugar

3 eggs

2 quarts oil for frying

Salt & Pepper

Empty the two cans of cream corn into a large mixing bowl. Fill the two empty cans with flour and add to the bowl. Add chopped clams, eggs, baking powder, sugar and a pinch of salt and pepper to the mixture. Fold all ingredients together. In a deep pan or fryer, heat oil to 350 degrees. Slowly drop in large spoonfuls of batter and fry to golden brown about three minutes. Serve with a spicy hot tartar sauce.
