State Rep. Kathy Kennedy is hosting a beach cleanup on Sunday, Sept. 26 at Gulf Beach in Milford to herald the end of summer.
Kennedy is sponsoring the cleanup to increase awareness to the Milford community about litter and pollution that gets dumped and thrown in and near Long Island Sound.
The cleanup will begin at 10 a.m. and go to 11 a.m. Kennedy and others will meet in the beach parking lot at 550 Gulf Rd. Anyone interested in joining can register at here.
All necessary personal protective equipment and garage bags will be provided while supplies last.
