Milford Garden Club To Discuss Conserving Coastal Water Birds

The Milford Garden Club will feature Patrick Comins, the new executive director of the Milford Audubon Society, as the speaker at its Sept. 11 program. Comins will speak on Milford’s important role in the process of conserving coastal water birds in Connecticut. He will provide an update on the varieties of birds that nest on state shores and the Audubon Society’s work in protecting them along with encouraging their numbers to grow.

The program begins at 1 p.m. at the DAR at 55 Prospect St. in Milford. There will be a $5 guest fee. Contact 203-874-7470 or visit milfordctgardenclub.org/ for more information. Potential members and guests are always welcome.
