Orange Congregational Church Celebrating Holy Season

Orange Congregational Church will be observing Palm Sunday March 25 with services at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. At 9:45 a.m. you can meet in the back parking lot to receive a palm and process with a bagpiper into the sanctuary for the later service. At 11:30 a.m. after the service, you can join the church for “Hosanna!” offered by the Confirmation Class. This will be a lunch-theater style dramatization of the last days of Jesus’s life. Middle Eastern fare will be offered for a $5 per person suggested donation. Sign up with the church office at 203-795-9749.

During Holy Week, join the church for Maundy Thursday on March 29 with a 7 p.m. service of Tenebrae in the sanctuary, followed the Friday evening by a Good Friday service, also at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Easter Sunday services will be on April 1 at 6 a.m. for a sunrise service at Hannah’s Hill (outside near the church), and then inside the church sanctuary at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. for traditional Easter worship, including music from the Junior Choir, Bell Choir and Senior Choirs.
