The Downtown Milford Business Association is coordinating window shopping displays around the center of the city to allow for shopping for Mother’s Day that complies with social distancing guidelines starting May 1.
Each display will include three or more gift items, along with prices, sizes and information on how to make a purchase. After browsing from window to window, shoppers can select and order a gift directly from the shop, which will then be available for pickup.
“This is a fun way to safely shop from six feet away while still supporting our local businesses who’ve had to shut their doors,” said Tracy Bonosconi, DMBA president. “It’s also a nice reason to leave the house and enjoy our beautiful downtown in full bloom.”
Participating stores include The Body Waxing Studio, The Canvas Patch, Inpopnito, Inside Living Style, Island Time, Galina’s, Gilded Lily The Lovet Shop, Makeup Makeup, Sophie Claire’s, SunSpray Tans and SV Decker Jewelry.
