The Congregation Or Shalom Men’s Club is hosting the third and final debate on Sunday, Oct. 24 between Orange first selectman candidates incumbent Republican Jim Zeoli and Democratic challenger Connor Deane.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at 205 Old Grassy Hill Rd. in Orange. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. The building policy requires proof of vaccination and masks for all who enter.
Roger Tausig will be the moderator. There will be prepared questions for the candidates. Each candidate will have three minutes for opening remarks, then two minutes to respond to each question, with a two-minute rebuttal and a one-minute counter-rebuttal. Candidates will also have three minutes for closing remarks.
Questions from audience members will be taken if time permits. There will be cards available to submit a question. They will be collected and screened for objectivity.
