Milford Audubon To Discuss Birding 101

Connecticut Audubon Society’s Coastal Center in Milford will continue its Birding 101 series with a class on bird feeders and nuisance animals on Sunday, Jan. 26 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Discover which birds are at our feeders in winter, what they like to eat and how to reduce visits from unwanted nuisance animals. The program is geared for beginners, but all levels are welcome. The group meets at the center, located at 1 Milford Point Rd. The program is based indoors, with outdoor walking weather permitting. CAS members pay $7 per class, and non-members pay $10 per class. Preregistration is required at ctaudubon.org/coastal-center-programs-events/ or by calling 203-878-7440, x502.
