To help celebrate and bring a little color to the library, they’ve been “yarn bombing” the rotunda and other areas. The rotunda itself is divided into four sections, each representing a season. Hidden among the pieces in each section, are characters from books and movies.

Originally, the display was going to be up only for the month of June. However, library staff notified Lucia Bloom that they may keep it up all summer long.

Bloom noted that the Friends of the Case Memorial Library intend to have a scavenger hunt activity for children that involves the yarn display. That will run all summer long once implemented.
