“I am honored to have received the endorsement from these two great organizations,” said Rep. Ferraro in the release. “Being a small business owner myself, I have worked hard to be a voice for small businesses in Connecticut. Small businesses are the engine of our economy and they are responsible for creating and sustaining the most jobs in our state.”

“We must elect candidates who understand the urgency facing our state, and will make the decisions necessary to grow the economy, create jobs, and help Connecticut reach its full potential,” added CBIA president & CEO Joe Brennan. “Because of that, we’re pleased to endorse Charles Ferraro as he will continue to work on strengthening Connecticut’s economy.”

NFIB recently gave Rep. Ferraro a passing grade this legislative session. Ferraro voted against placing $1.3 billion in tax and fee increases on businesses and individuals, which was passed by the majority party Democrats.

Ferraro is the current Owner, CEO, and Grandmaster of West Haven Academy of Karate, Inc., the longest running martial arts studio in Southern Connecticut area. He has operated the school as its principal and sole owner since 1976.
