If you love seeing hundreds of yellow rubber ducks racing down the Wepawaug River to Milford Harbor each May, well there is some bad news. The annual duck race has also been cancelled.

From the race’s website:
“Due to the unexpected announcement that Saint Gabriel School will be closed June 30, there will be no 2016 Milford Harbor Duck Race this May. Our Community is devastated and we thank you all for your support.”
St. Gabriel’s School was the organizer and beneficiary of the annual event.
