Anthony Cacciabaudo
Anthony Cacciabaudo, 81, of Milford, beloved husband of Patti Cacciabaudo, passed away on June 24, 2026. Born on August 5, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Louis and Jean Cacciabaudo.
Raised in Hollis, Queens, Anthony attended school in Brooklyn before continuing his education at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he laid the foundation for a successful and well-respected career in dentistry spanning nearly 40 years.
Before beginning his career, Anthony proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Stationed in the Philippines, it was there that he met Patti, who would become his wife of 55 years. He remained in active service until September of 1972, ultimately settling in Poughkeepsie where he ran a private dental practice and served much of the community until he retired in the early 2000s. After retirement, Anthony proudly called Milford, Connecticut home.
Anthony embraced life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He enjoyed golfing with friends and family, visiting many courses around the country. His love of wine grew into a lifelong passion. He participated in many cooking classes and wine tastings at the Culinary Institute of America. He especially loved sharing his newly acquired knowledge through leading a wine appreciation group at one of his favorite restaurants, Le Pavillon, in Salt Point, NY. Following retirement, Anthony designed and built a custom wine cellar at his home in Milford.
Anthony was equally at home on the water. After completing sailing lessons on the Hudson River, he quickly became an accomplished sailor, taught navigation courses, and became an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He loved sharing what he learned and giving back to the many communities that shaped him.
As the years passed, Anthony found deep satisfaction closer to home. He took immense pride in his property and could be found tending his gardens, caring for his yard, or tackling whatever home projects needed his attention.
What Anthony was most proud of and held closest to his heart, was his family. Everything he did was with the intention of setting up his family for success and showing his wife and daughters the depth of his love for and pride in them. He also took great pride in his extended family and their individual successes. He deeply valued extended family gatherings at the holidays as well as golf trips, cross-country skiing trips, and summer vacations on Cape Cod and the Maine coast. In recent years, he was happiest when sitting around the table connecting with his family through memories of their many shared adventures and special moments.
Anthony is survived by his devoted wife Patti, his daughters, Lisa (Jen) Cacciabaudo and Cara Cacciabaudo; his siblings, Joseph (Helen) Cacciabaudo, Lillian (the late Ronald) Berndt, and Mary Ann Cacciabaudo; his granddogs, Elio and Jackson; as well as his many nieces and nephews. Andre Jean Dannenhoffer
Andre Jean Dannenhoffer, otherwise known as “Andy,” passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the age of 89. He is survived by his fiancé of 26 years Linda E. Arendt, his four children, Daniel, Thomas, Denise and Debra, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Carol G. Pilla of 42 years and a granddaughter, Nicole Devito. He would often mention that when carol was dying, she would say to him while they were holding hands “I’m going to send you a good woman”, and she did. Shortly thereafter he met Linda at a Widow & Widowers Club, and they have been together ever since, having been engaged in Paris, France where he had purchased her an engagement ring.
Andy said that he had met Carol on a blind date in 1955 while they were still in high school and were married in 1956. He worked for the New York Telephone Co. as a splicer’s helper and then attended RCA Institutes where he received a degree in Advanced Electronic Engineering. After living in the Bronx, New York with Carol’s parents for six years, the family moved to Milford, Connecticut where he and Carol made their home.
Andy, as a small child lived with his parents and sister Dorothy on the Storm King Mountain, in New York State where his parents were domestics: Father Jean tending to the estate animals and his mother, Marie Antoinett, governess for the estate children. Since his parents were Parisian French, they only spoke French at home. Consequently, when Andy started school, he only spoke French so it took a couple of years for him to catch up to the other kids.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 10 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery 700 Middletown Ave., North Haven, CT 06473. Please meet directly at the cemetery.
Elizabeth Enders
Elizabeth Doris Enders, 81, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, surrounded by the love, prayers, and presence of family and friends.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Eleanor and Robert McFadden, Elizabeth was the youngest of four siblings. She was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor (Raymond) Grayson, and her brother, Robert (Ann) McFadden, and is survived by her brother, James (Joan) McFadden of New York.
Brooklyn is also where Elizabeth met the love of her life and best friend, Richard Enders Jr. They met at the age of 13 in their church youth group, beginning a remarkable love story that would span nearly seven decades. Together they built a beautiful life and recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary—a testament to a partnership rooted in friendship, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
After moving to Connecticut, Elizabeth worked in the front office at Macy’s in New Haven but soon decided to dedicate herself wholeheartedly to raising her family. She was heavily involved in the Live Oaks School PTA for many years. Her greatest joy was caring for those she loved, especially watching her grandchildren whenever she was needed. Whether she was providing a warm meal, a listening ear, or an endless supply of hugs, her home was always filled with love.
Faith and community were important parts of Elizabeth’s life from an early age. Growing up in Brooklyn, she sang in the youth choir at her church, where she formed lifelong friendships and developed the caring spirit that would define her life.
Elizabeth was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, crocheting, reading, and gardening. Every new baby in the family was welcomed with one of her treasured handmade blankets, lovingly crocheted stitch by stitch and destined to become a cherished keepsake.
She also loved to walk. For many years, Elizabeth and Richard walked at least three miles every day together, side by side, enjoying each other’s company and enjoying the beaches of Milford.
Elizabeth had an especially soft heart for animals and leaves behind her dog, Bella. Over the years, she rescued and cared for countless creatures, including birds, ducks, dogs, cats, guinea pigs, parrots, hamsters, and just about anything else that found its way to her door. Her most famous rescue was a baby squirrel named Chippy, who had fallen from his nest. After being brought to Elizabeth by neighborhood children, Chippy was fed with a syringe, nurtured back to health, and eventually released. He remained a frequent visitor for years. In fact, when the family went away on vacation for the first time, Chippy apparently took their absence personally and responded by uprooting every flower Elizabeth had planted in her garden. Even then, she couldn’t stay mad at him.
One of Elizabeth’s greatest joys was bringing her family together. The annual family vacations she planned and looked forward to each year became treasured traditions and some of her and her family’s happiest memories. Whether gathered around a beach house table, sharing laughs on a family outing, or simply enjoying time together, Elizabeth cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was also her grandchildren’s biggest fan. No matter the sport, the season, or the weather, she could often be found in the bleachers, cheering them on. The memories made on those vacations and at countless games will remain among her family’s most treasured gifts.
In addition to her beloved husband, Richard, Elizabeth is survived by her children, Richard (Dana) Enders, David (Karen) Enders, and Laura (Paul) Goglia of Milford, Connecticut.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Richard (Samara), David (Jessica), Samantha (Joe), Ryan, Christopher, Kyle, Justin, Brian, and great-grandchildren Rue, Rory, Maddie and Jaxson. She was eagerly awaiting the arrival of two more great-granddaughters later this year.
Elizabeth also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were enriched by her kindness, generosity, and love.
For the past six months, Elizabeth resided at Maplewood Senior Living in Orange, Connecticut. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated staff for their friendship, warmth, and exceptional compassion. They also wish to thank the caregivers at Bridgeport Hospital and the extraordinary team at The Connecticut Hospice for the care, dignity, and support they provided to Elizabeth and her family during her final journey. Especially thankful for her Hospice nurse Kirby and aide Michelle.
Elizabeth’s life was defined not by grand gestures, but by countless acts of love—meals shared, blankets made, animals rescued, stories told, walks taken, and family cherished. She made ordinary days feel special and left behind a legacy of kindness that will continue to live on in all who knew her.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that somewhere, Elizabeth is enjoying a good book, keeping an eye on her loved ones, and probably making sure every animal in heaven is properly cared for.
In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or formal services. A private celebration of her life will be held by her immediate family at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405, or online at www.hospice.com.

Joan Linsley, 92, of Orange, Connecticut, beloved wife of the late Arthur Linsley, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on April 9, 1934, to Anthony and Antoinette (Avitable) Pannone, Joan lived a life filled with laughter, love, and an unmistakable spark that stayed with her until the very end.
To know Joan—or “Corky,” as her husband affectionately called her—was to know a woman who never lacked for an opinion, a comeback, or a reason to laugh. She was feisty, spirited, and wonderfully quick-witted. Whether she was keeping her family on their toes with a perfectly timed remark, exchanging playful banter with her famously wild son, or breaking into one of her made-up songs and dances, Joan had a gift for bringing joy to those around her. Her sense of humor was unmatched.
Family was the center of Joan’s world. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She treasured time spent with those she loved and created countless memories that her family will carry with them forever. Though her family mourns her loss, they find comfort in remembering her strength, humor, resilience, and the countless smiles she brought to their lives. The songs may have been made up, the dances and jigs improvised, and the jokes often a little mischievous, but they were uniquely Joan—and they will never be forgotten.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Infant Church, 450 Racebrook Road, Orange, Connecticut. Interment will immediately follow at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange, Connecticut.

Following an honorable discharge, he was an electronics engineer at Bell & Howell, Tie Communications, and other firms in CT, all the while continuing his education at Univ. of Bridgeport, Fairfield Univ., Bell & Howell Correspondence School and CT School of Electronics. Bill retired after a fulfilling career and worked part-time as receptionist/cashier at David Ryan Hair Salon.
A theme throughout Bill’s life was his love of animals. He raised hamsters during his teens, then kept mice and rabbits as pets for a time, thereafter. He contributed to wildlife and animal care organizations throughout his life. He loved dogs, in recent years preferring Shelties, always rescues.
Bill always enjoyed family gatherings, and would discuss a wide range of topics, from sports to cars to politics. While he had an acerbic wit, his smile always told you he was kidding with you. He also built impressive stamp and coin collections.
Bill was a stage 4 colon cancer survivor, living nearly 20 years after his diagnosis. Over these last few years, he kept his sense of humor, often bantering with his doctors, nurses and aides, who would remark about his positive attitude and how he made them laugh.
A Remembrance of Bill’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT.
