The Friends of the Case Memorial Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, Nov. 7 in the basement of the library in Orange.
The sale will include lots of fiction books, plus tables specific to historical fiction, science fiction and other subgenres. One table will showcase staff picks that the volunteers have enjoyed, with bookmarks explaining why they picked them. There will be children’s books and puzzles that families can do together. The “One of a Kind Finds” section is newly stocked with a variety of interesting, fascinating or quirky topics. Another table will be devoted to banned books. Non-fiction will encompass history, science, self-care, sports, cooking, art and more.
Most adult softcovers are $2 and hardcovers are $3. Some books are priced a bit higher. Kids’ books are sometimes priced lower.
The sale runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Only cash or checks are accepted; no credit cards. The Case Memorial Library is located at 176 Tyler City Rd.
